These happy characters came to me in the most unexpected moment.

I was very sick, in bed for many months, with lots of pain. I even had to take an extended leave of absence from my job as Art Director for VH 1 Latin America.

I would be in bed, thinking about what I would learn from this not-very-nice experience and what kind of art I would make afterwards. I thought I'd be making angry art full of skulls & bones. But, for my surprise, what started coming out of me were these happy, quirky and playful beings that came into my life and made feel happy. Very happy. They brought out my 'happy'.

The happy inside of me had helped me make a full recovery. Now, I want to share it with you.
