This is the first part of a planned 16-bit computer that will run entirely in minecraft. That computer will be “Hack” compatible, which is to say that it’ll run code meant for the Hack machine described in The Elements of Computing Systems (a fantastic book that you should look up if you are at all interested in how computers work. Its website is www.idc.ac.il ). Some more info: The design was drawn up in a program called Redstone Simulator (does what it says on the tin), which was written by Baezon on the Minecraft Forums www.minecraftforum.net MCEdit ( minecraftforums.net ) was used to help clear off space and import the design into minecraft. Messages to youtube design team here in description box.. and if you have suggestions .. put them down below this video in the comments section. to youtube design: Main page, regardless of which format you choose.. needs to have channel comments.. PLEASE DO NOT make channel comments a “click to find” function under feeds as it currently is setup. New format does NOT show total number of channel comments.. currently my channel has about 250000 comments on the main page — the new format says nothing. New format needs to allow the ability to TURN OFF the total number of subscribers and video views… the old profile allows the ability to “make visible” or “invisible” these statistics..new format puts it top front center. New format needs to have the ability to see the UPLOADS featured content — the whole point of having a youtube page is so that people can see your videos — only ONE of the new formats allows my uploads to be seen without putting all my uploads in a playlist format. The new format needs to allow — on the main page along with the main channel comments — the “recommended viewing” of other channels.. do not limit to 5. The old format works great.. just needs a light facelift.. new module buttons etc.. not that youtube needs my suggestions.. but just make the icons a bit bigger, and revamp the buttons .. and the OLD format would be perfect and up to date.
